On another note...it kinda bewilders and annoys me that my most favorited pic in my gallery is my damned Jim from Treasure Planet picture. O_o It's not even in my gallery, but in my scrap. Because it sucks. I was watching the movie one day, I paused it, and then I drew him using the movie as a reference. It's not original, it wasn't supposed to be...it was just practice because I wanted to draw something Disney. Why does it have 26 favorites? Because it's fanart. -_- Bah! I hate that picture and may just end up removing it because it annoys me that much. Hrmph.

This is the reason I forever refuse to do fanart pictures. That was my last one and the only one I'll ever do. My other stuff may not get favorites, but oh well, I don't draw to get favorites, I draw because it's fun and I wanna get better! 8D And that's the thing. I'd rather get views and comments that I earn rather than...just because omgit'sJim~! KYA! But that it has no other artistic merit otherwise...except that it's Jim.

Not that a lot of my pics have any artistic merit. Alas. I am something of a lazy artist. But...at least it's my own stuff and characters and not something you can just watch a movie or play a game in order to get your fill of eyecandy. >_> Not that I'm bashing fanart. I like some of it and I know if takes as much time and effort to draw (though, I do think the original stuff takes even more time and effort because then you don't have a reference except what's in your head in regards to character design...). I just tend to favorite fanart based not really so much on the characters but on the art itself. I don't even usually know who the characters are most of the time, but if it looks good, awesome! Heck, some artists whose style I absolutely adore do pretty much nothing but fanart, so...yeah! I love it. I'm not complaining. I don't really care if it's fanart or not, as long as I like it, after all. ^_~ But the point is, my Jim from Treasure Planet picture is crap. I know the rest of my art is also crap, but...Jim is more crappy. So there. XD

Okay, I'm done.

Ahaha...I've been such a snail lately. ; Er...I AM coloring that Hatame picture! Really I am! >.> It's about... *looks* 40% done? Yeaaah. Longest CG job I've ever done, but mostly due to laziness as opposed to difficulty level. Well, alright, so it DOES have to do with difficulty level since I'm trying to make it really really good and am coloring it differently. Bah.
